Hello Kitty Cake Smash

I can only post a few of this adorable cake smash, due to the wishes of her parents, but as you can see, the cake was absolutely adorable!  The birthday girls' theme was Hello Kitty and we had balloons and a beautiful backdrop with water and beautiful trees.  Mom, Dad, Grandma and even her Uncle joined us for some fun.  She needed a little help smashing the cake and Dad was happy to help!  Once she got a taste of the delicious cake, she dug right in!  She had smiles the entire session and even though it was extremely chilly, and windy, she kept on smiling and you wouldn't have even known it!

Happy Birthday, birthday Girl!

Coury Family

I first met Alexa at her Lemonade Stand mini and was excited when her Dad and step Mom wanted to book a Family Fall Mini Session!  We planned on a day and Mother Nature had other plans, so after rescheduling due to rain, we had a perfect day for photos!

We went to a local park near me and they brought their Collie, Molly, with bows and all! Alexa had lots of fun throwing leaves!

Hardy Family

We started their session at the Pumpkin Patch (aka my house!) for a Pumpkin Stand Mini session!  Victoria LOVED the "Puh-kees" and had BIG smiles!  I couldn't believe how much she has grown since the last time I saw her at her Cake Smash session! She is still a beautiful little girl!  We then took Family portraits at a park near my home and had lots of fun on the playground.  We got lots of cute and candid shots.  This is one of my favorite families to photograph!

Coggins Family {Mommy & Me}

My old, high school classmate contacted me to do some photos of his wife and his two kids, for a Mother's day gift!  He purchased a gift certificate and gave his wife her gift on Mother's  Day.  Way to earn some points Tony!

We had a great session that was full of energy and lots of laughs!

These kids are stinkin' cute!

Emma plays Viola (pronounced "Vee-ola", as I found out the hard way after mispronouncing it "Vi-ola" -opps! Sorry Emma!)  Bradlee plays drums, Mom plays Clarinet! Dad used to play trumpet in the high school marching band, from what I remember.  What a musical family!

Mom informed me that her and the kids are CMU fans and Dad is a U of M fan!  I have to side with Dad on that one, sorry Kristy! (Go Blue!!) But, I thought it was very cute to support CMU (and annoy Dad a little, lol!)  "Fire Up Chips!"

Kennedy K. | Kearsley | Class of 2015

Kennedy had a second session for the Fall and her session turned out gorgeous!

Ellesse + Travis

I have been looking forward to shooting this wedding since I met with the bride in May!  It turned out to be a gorgeous Fall day and the location was a beautiful farm that the bride works at and it is like her second home. I could see why from the very first visit there.  It is beautiful!

It was a true country farm wedding and the details were just amazing!

The bride rode a horse named Fabio, and she was glowing!  Her dress was just beautiful. The ceremony was short, sweet and the reception guests were taken to the tent at the other end of the farm, by a horse drawn carriage!

The food was SO good! Fried chicken, baked beans, mac n' cheese, and the cupcakes were amazing!

The reception was super fun and the preacher shook his groove thang on the dance floor AND caught the garter!  The father of the groom and the Maid of Honor said beautiful speeches.  The bride's little sister was the best dancer there!  The scenery was to die for.  It was absolutely PERFECT.

For my first outdoor wedding, I think it went pretty darn good! I could not have done it all alone though.  I would like to send a special thank you to my gorgeous daughter who worked as my assistant!

I wish I could show you every photo! I know I will be showing some more as I edit through them all. :)

Brandon R. | Kearsley | Class of 2015

We started out a the local bowling alley where Brandon bowls for Kearsley High School on the Varsity Bowling team! Go Hornets!

We had a great session even though the park we wanted to go to was closed for just the day!  I knew of another area and we actually got some of the best photos of the entire session there!

Isn't his dog adorable?!
